Welcome

I fell in love with technology as a teenager when I got my first Commodore 64 and started programming - smile. The equipment and applications have changed a lot since then, but that is what makes this field so exciting! As a professor, I have a unique opportunity to learn, develop, research, and share ways to leverage technology to help people reach their potential.

Technology isn't my only interest though - I have been involved with the Deaf community for over 20 years and am a certified interpreter & teacher. By focusing my line of research on how Educational Technology impacts Deaf students, I truly have the "best of both worlds"!

Please join me in exploring some of my current projects and achievements.

LAMBERT

"Connecting the digital and physical world by providing a platform for young Deaf children to select tangible toys and instantly view ASL multimedia videos without computer skills."

Check out our Lambert website to see the latest updates about this fun project! We are now partering with the Louisiana School for the Deaf, the Jean Massieu Academy for the Deaf, the Parent Pupil Education Program (PPEP), and several individual schools in Louisiana!

The LAMBERT project is funded by a Stepping Stones grant from the US Department of Education.
