After a first attempt at connecting online multimedia content with onsight fieldtrip experiences using GPS technology, we concluded that too many barriers existed for widespread implementation.

2D Barcoding, however, provides a way to trigger online content during a fieldtrip experience that is both easy to create and easy to use along with being inexpensive in terms of hardware & software.

We are currently investigating the way Deaf students and adults use 2D barcoding, but in the meantime we have some exaples for you!
