Purpose: This book series was created for young Deaf children who receive information primarily through American Sign Language, but are on the path to becoming bilingual (i.e. a fluent signer and able to read/write in English proficiently).

How does it work?
We embeded RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags into the book pages. When a child touches the tag using an RFID scanner, our custom built software launches the appropriate video for the page. In addition, Burton Vision created an add-on module for the book to their assessment software so kids can take a quiz (presented in ASL and English) about the story.
