Mambo Logo Welcome to the LAPRIDE information site powered by Mambo. LAPRIDE was created to meet several key priorities of the Supporting Electronic Learning and Essential Campus Transitions (SELECT) Program by making distance learning courses more accessible to disabled populations.

This site is the source of a free stand-alone online training course that teaches course developers the process of meeting ADA Compliant W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines through the application of the four principles of Accessibility (Perception, Operation, Understandability, and Robustness). This Site is authored in Mambo to the AA stadard of WCAG 1.0 compliance. Mambo was chosen for this site because it is WCAG AA and section 508 compliant right out of the box. For basic information on compliance standards and to check and see if your site is compliant please go to our standards section.
